PLOS Water article just accepted

March 18, 2022 In Research

The article entitled "Use of solar circulator to restore dissolved oxygen in a hypoxic ice-covered lake" has been accepted for publication. Observations indicate the circulator formed a polynya that lasted until late November, did not increase lake turbidity, and facilitated oxygen exchange for at least 3 weeks before freezup, noting insufficient battery storage and low light levels are signficant limitations.
