Delaware River Estuary Hydrodynamic & Water Quality Model Review

KF2 completed an independent review of the EFDC-WASP Delaware River Estuary hydrodynamic and water-quality model developed by the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) on behalf of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network (DRN). The review focused on modeling tools developed by DRBC to support the Highest Attainable Dissolved Oxygen (HADO) evaluation for the estuary, which represents a current evaluation of large-scale municipal wastewater facility upgrades to reduce nitrogenous biochemical oxygen demand (NBOD) loading to the Delaware River Estuary.
