QUAL2K Model Updates

Dr. Flynn is working with Dr. Chapra and Dr. Tao to support the QUAL2K (Q2K) model update. Q2K was initially developed in 1999 and it has been 10 years since the last major revision. Several major upgrades are being implemented to: (1) make the model more theoretically reliable and flexible, (2) have the software generate improved information for decision making and river water-quality management, and (3) develop a user website to create a user community, track user volume, distribute model upgrades and corrections, get user feedback, and to provide a chat board for users to provide user self-help.

Work is being completed under subcontract to E2K Engineering.
